Cottage Car Wash

Paid for a deluxe which is one step down from their best package the VIP so youre looking at about 41$ for a car wash (50 including tax and tip). These are pics after me going back a second time bc they didnt vaccum properly and the guy who manages all the workers outside was incredibly rude and hasty when i came back to ask him to re vacum. “He shouted at me and said drive fast! And hurry up”. He told me there was paint on my mats…it was dry crumbs of play-dough which got wet when he hosed it down and couldve been wiped off easily…or had he vaccumed it prior to just hosing it down, he would be able to see that it gets picked up just like regular dirt🤦🏽‍♀️. The pics yiu see are after I went back a second time so you can only imagine how it looked the first time. With the delixe package younoay for your rubber mats to get hand washed. I couldve hosed these down myself at home if this was the case. If thats what you call “a deluxe cleaning” Aside from the playdough the vacuum job was horrible even after i brought the car back it was still dusty and dirty! I dont expect perfection but come on-dont be lazy…move the seats forwards and get under there. I will not be returning ever again bc of how disrespectful and intimidating the foreman was to me and thank god i didnt buy one of those packages for 159$. Although the elderly man at the cash register was very polite i think he should definitely tell his employees to do a thorough job! Oh and not pictured was a junk filled cup holder where i pointed it out to the foreman of the workers he put his dirty rag and just grabbed it all out lol…no spray no nothing. I would not be writing this review had it been a $15 dollar car wash but this experience was horrible and i hate that the workers cut corners…its thursday 11am so you would think theyd take their time since it wasnt crazy busy(quantity over quality at this place)

I have been coming here for 15 years and they are hands down the best car wash on Long Island. They take their time cleaning your car and take pride in it. I have been to hundreds of car washes across the country and they are one of the best. My cars always look better than they did the day I bought them. Pat (owner) and his family run a great business and they truly care about the customer. Don’t waste your money anywhere else - come to Cottage and you won’t be sorry!

This was one of the most organized car washes I have been to. Unlike most car washes that are challenged with just a few spots for cars to get wiped down slowing the process, this place had at least 8 spots and an army of guys. The line was 6 cars long, but went so fast. It was a great experience and I will return for sure even theirs a little out of the way.

I took my 2022 Chevy Silverado for a detail in December 2023 and the finished product was near perfection. Truck looked better than when I first purchased it from the dealership. They spent 6+ hours working on the truck. I live near the ocean so my truck takes a beating from the sand, salt water / air and the compound / gloss they used will protect and preserve the exterior for months. When I came to pickup the truck the owner (Pat) spoke to me for a good 10 mins and truly took interest in ensuring I was pleased with the job. Very professional, through and courteous. Highly recommend Cottage Car Wash.
